IPhone security benchmark

The Apple iPhone is a home run with consumers, but struggles to be accepted as a working tool in the economy, at least in part to the lack of security controls.

The Center for Internet Security (CIS) developed and released the iPhone 2.2.1 CIS Benchmark v1.0.0 (Registration required to download the PDF, but the recording reference, and iPhone is free).
