Change the name of your wireless network

Enter a new SSID in the Network Name field (SSID).

If you change your SSID, make sure to change something unique. Using information such as your name or the name or address or date of birth, an attacker is able to correctly guess what your SSID to be. So follow these tips:

• SSID for as many characters as possible
• not to mention something as simple as "wireless" or name
• try to use a combination of letters and numbers

After a new SSID you just do not give forget to click Save Settings to ensure that the settings are applied.
