You have just got a call from someone who they were from the Windows Support received. The caller ID looked real. They said that his team "expulsion error", "spamming" or "to report a virus."
The educated person on the other side of the line had a strong foreign accent and seemed very eager to prove their case and to help "solve" the problem. They sent you to open your Windows Event Viewer so that it can show the "error", and asked to download something called Ammyy TeamViewer or other tool, so that they connect directly to the computer and "fix" the problem. You also want your credit card number so they can charge a small fee for the service.
You have just a victim PC Support Scam. It is known by many different names, as well as:
- Fake Microsoft Support fraud
- SCAM Support
- Ammyy Scam
- Team Viewer scam
Whatever the name, there are a lot of people fooled by these criminals. This scam has been around for many years and the success rate seems to encourage more criminals to participate. Initially, only Windows PC users have been white, but now Mac users have also targeted.

If you fell for the scam hook, line and sinker, you should do at least the following:
1 Call your bank and tell them what has happened
